The head of the research department, dr. Harilaos Ginis was invited to give a talk on dysphotopic phenomena in intraocular lenses and ways to image them, at the 6th Xmas meeting at the laboratorio de Óptica, University of Murcia in Spain.

Dimitrios Christaras from the Research Department of the Athens Eye Hospital was invited by the South-East European Ophthalmological Society (SEEOS) to present his work at Society’s annual meeting in Pristina, Kosovo on a new optical instrument to measure macular pigment optical density.

The head of Department of Research was invited to give a lecture at the University of Riga, organised by the local SPIE student chapter.

Athens Eye Hospital has the honour and the responsibility to organise the Visual and Physiological Optics (VPO) meeting in Athens. (29-31 August 2018)
